The StarBird Fuzzy Wuzzy Preener, made of untreated abaca is designed for hours of preening and chewing enjoyment and wonderful fun for any size bird. Its especially useful for feather abusive birds; once they start preening the Fuzzy Wuzzy they’ll have less time to chew or chop feathers.

Hang the Fuzzy Wuzzy horizontally or vertically or wrap it around a perch for an easy to reach preener. This abaca parrot toy is safe to immerge in water for cleaning and it won't shrink.

The Fuzzy Wuzzy Preener comes with 2 stainless steel quick links, one at each end, allowing flexibility in positioning for the best chewing and preening possibilities.

A note about feather picking:

Plucking is a very complex and individual behaviour and the very first thing you should do if your bird shows any sign of this destructive behaviour is to take it to a qualified Avian Vet to eliminate physical causes. The earlier the better. The Fuzzy Wuzzy is not designed to eliminate plucking, but rather to be used as an alternative to destroying feathers. There are a variety of methods to help a bird through a plucking disorder all of which involve providing a happy, stress free environment and interesting toys to take its natural chewing behaviour out on. A parrot doesn’t just like to chew, it needs to chew.
