Millet Spray Treat - 200g

Millet spray is the dried seed head of foxtail or finger millet, that many birds (passerine or psittacine) find a highly desireable treat. Sick birds who are not eating well can often be tempted to a few bites with a millet spray (especially if soaked in warm water first). Millet also works very nicely as a weaning food for immature parrots, encouraging them towards independant eating.

Its also possible to sprout millet sprays, which greatly increases their nutritional value and reduces the fat content making it a pretty exciting foraging experience.

This 200g pack of millet contains approximately 35-40 sprays.
